Waiting, impatiently...

Jet's due date is July 21, which is in two minutes. She's been showing signs of impending labour since 2 AM last night. Her temperature is down, and she is alternating between being restless and digging, and sleeping (note, on the bed, not in her whelping box!). With just one pup, there is a fear that labour will not kick in, so I am watching and monitoring very closely! She is bright and calm, and guarding her toys when she is not sleeping. All is well so far. But it is getting to feel like a long wait!

Cross fingers for us and pray for a healthy puppy and mum by this time tomorrow.
