Is your pet calendar worthy? - KTVB
BOISE -- Does your pooch have the perfect doggy grin? Does your kitty know how to strike that model pose? Then your pet could be a star in the Idaho Humane Society's 2012 "Friends for Life" calendar.
The Idaho Humane Society is looking for photos of local companion animals, like dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, ferrets, guinea pigs, rats, mice, birds and horses for their third annual calendar.
Potential calendar-worthy shots will be accepted through September 23. Then, a panel of judges and IHS representatives will choose which pet gets to be Mr. or Ms. October and all the months in between.
Entry fees from the contest and proceeds from calendar sales will go to support the thousands of animals that the IHS cares for.
