Herding 101 - Ben gets his broom, and first visit to the back deck

Ben was out on the back deck for about 15 hectic minutes this morning. He spotted the broom (below), so I did some 'herding 101' and let him chase and catch it. He was pretty tenacious. I don't know, is that good? Or should I be worried, LOL

Here are his first steps onto the deck. He has been obsessing over the window and screen door. So this was a red letter day in his books.

Here he is sniffing Uncle Caden's nose.

Uncle Caden brings the ball up to show off to little Ben. Ben was suitably impressed.

Ben looks down at his Pa Ted and Grandma River (who as you will notice, has Caden's ball now).

I will have to block these guys into the yard. There is a lot of interest in meeting Ben but he's too tiny for any real interaction yet. I don't make him the 'forbidden fruit' and let them see and sniff him for now.

And as I type this - Ben is wiped! Notice his 'big boy' enclosure now - I am removing the vari - he was just running circles around it. How fast they grow!
