Trying to wean Ben - and he's trying his teeth on things!

Jet's days of hiding in the kitchen came to an end today when Ben heaved himself up the two steps to reach her!



And in other news from today...

Ben thinks he can nurse forever. He is not keen on solid food, but will take some (usually) from my finger. Today he averted his gaze!


Of course, at noon he has lots of important stuff to do, such as experiment by putting his teeth on everything - that was today's big discovery!

And then it was time to lie close to the magic window - with papa Ted on the other side...




Tonight when I got home from work, I gave him puppy food. He had not been with Jet for about 3 hours. And he gobbled down about 2 tablespoons of food, happily!



I'll still let him nurse - it is good for him. Nothing better than momma's milk. But will add more and more puppy food to his schedule until he is weaned.
