'Dog Soldiers: Red' Teaser Teases 'Dog Soldiers 2' - Bloody Disgusting

While Dog Soldiers 2 is still in pre-production, its producers at Kismet Entertainment have started rolling on the Dog Soldiers: Legacy web series while they get warmed (and to get you warmed up) up for their feature. Today we have the first installment in the web series, Red, along with some stills from the shoot!
The Dog Soldiers: Red trailer" brings back a sense of the unique werewolf style that we have all come to love from the original 'Dog Soldiers' film... Based on a modern-day version of "Little Red Riding Hood", multiple members of Allen's family took part in the Ryan Lightbourn-directed trailer including his grandmother Pat "Nan" Allen who plays the awaiting grandma and his sister Emmy Allen who portrays "Red".... Kismet Entertainment is also in the early stages of pre-production for the first sequel to the 2002 cult hit 'Dog Soldiers'.

| no offense Kismet but that was pretty bad IMO. the first movie is awesome in every way. i'm all for a part 2 but for the love of God do it right. (and throwing/splashing blood against a tree like that just looks cheap and silly. Adam Green does that with his HATCHET movies and looks just as bad but somewhat more acceptable since those movies are intentionally over the top gorefests). AND PLEASE NO CGI BLOOD like you used in this clip. just sayin'. |
| We're staying true to the style of the original film. There was no GCI blood in this teaser. We fully believe in continuing to use "organic" gore/blood and will continue to use these methods in the future with the web series, as well as DS2. Die-hard horror fans cringe at CG blood and so do we. |
| Kismet, i appreciate the reply! don't get me wrong, i'm %100 for DS2 and i apologize for my mistake about the CGI blood. i DO like the gore that was in this. and you have my total respect for your stance on no CGI blood/gore! good luck with DS2. i look forward to seeing this! :) |
| Where the he'll did this come from, I had no idea they were doing anything else like this... I Remember watching the original movie opening night the day after Attck of the Clones came out, and it was taking the cinema by storm... Brilliant |
