Ten parent and child teams from across Canada, selected by a panel of judges, are participating in Canada's Next Top Dog live cook-off today at Toronto's 12th annual Scotiabank BuskerFest. The cook-off will determine who has the tastiest hot dog creation and crown them the $25,000 winner. The competing teams entered Maple Leaf's Top Dog contest on Facebook along with more than 1,000 other entrants from May 17th to August 8th, 2011.
Each team will prepare their Maple Leaf Top Dog creation in front of a panel of judges including, celebrity chef and Food Network host, Roger Mooking, Toronto Sun, food and lifestyle editor Rita Demontis and Chef John Placko, director of culinary excellence, Maple Leaf Foods.
