Here runs a report on what happened on the first day of Cruft Dog show, 2010.
The cruft show featured the working and Pastoral groups as per the schedule. The programs were as follows...
Arena
The Arena seats 6,000 and exhibited dogs to be judged for “Friends for Life”, “Agility Championships” and “Best in Show”.

This year (2010) the Obedience Ring is going to be held in Hall 5. The Obedience ring, as usual, is going to be used for obedience competitions exclusively. The Obedience competitions will include the superb Obedience World Cup. Challengers from across the globe made themselves available to compete.

The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme (GCDS), is expected to be really exciting as usual, where spectators would watch the fantabulous displays inside the ring. I am sure this will help many dog owners learn more about the secrets of responsible dog ownership.

The Kennel Club Younger Element of Crufts has always been the most enticing event in the Cruft Show. The Younger Element of Crufts (YKC) has assumed a great importance, since it focuses mainly in helping young dog lovers learn new skills, build confidence and know more about man-dog relationship. The Young Kennel Club (YKC) is an organisation for 6-24 years old dog fanciers. YKC arrange for the events in the Cruft for the young dog owners and handlers to compete at the highest level.
Dog Activities Ring
The Kennel Club has been sparing special thoughts over the dog owners. The organization is quite is passionate to test how active the dog owners are. The Dog Activities Ring is again another very important rings in the Cruft Dog show. The displays in this ring include working trials, agility test, flyball test and lots more.
